I want to write a blog entry for you to approve for publication
Please register as a contributor. Details of how to below.
I’ve never blogged before and am nervous and unsure.
Please have a go at registering. Write your post, indicating within it the sentences you are unsure about and whether you’d like us to email you before publication. We won’t change your post for you before publication, but will make friendly suggestions so you can.
I don’t want to register as a contributor
That’s fine. Every now and then we accept a contribution via email (contributions at librariesinteract dot info), but this is mainly for special events to encourage new bloggers to get used to writing for a blog. Usually we want you to register.
How do I register as a contributor?

2. At the “register for this blog” screen:
2.1 Enter your username. (This will appear under your posts so choose carefully).
2.2. Enter your email address.
3. Select register
4. You wil see a box telling you that your registration is complete
5. Keep your browser window open and go to your email reader
6. Find a message from us. The subject line is:[librariesinteract.info] Your username and password. This contains your password.

I’ve registered and have the “Word Press Dashboard” on my screen. Now what?
1. Poke around a bit and get to know what’s there.
2. Click on “Profile” to change your password or enter a bit of biographical information for public display. If you enter your real name, then this is what will show under “contributors” on the sidebar.
3. Select “write” to write a post.
4. Save the item as “private”, until you are ready for us to check it for publication
5. When you are ready for publication, save it as “draft”.
I’m on the home page, how do I write a post?
Go to the right side bar and click on “Site Admin”. The Dashboard will display. Please follow the instructions above. Why do you check all posts ?
SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, SPAM.When will my post appear?
We aim to get all posts approved within 24 hours of posting, but this is a labour of love, so often you’ll see it much quicker and sometimes (when we are out earning money to pay the rent) a little slower. What if my post needs changing?
We’ll usually tell you first. As long as your post fits in with our “about” guidelines, we will usually approve it. We believe that it is up to you how you come across to others on a site like this. If you write a line in your post specifying you want our feedback first, we will email you. Finally
