It is provided free until November 2007 by Talis and the Alliance Library System.

Emerald Dumont (SL name) is caretaking the project, but would be very happy to hand it over to someone else.
Anyone with an interest in Second Life can be part of the project. You can:

• play
• staff a reference desk
• create a temporary presence for your library
• poke about
• attend functions
• run functions
• add furniture
• speculate about the whole strange experience
• add links to Australian library sites
• create artwork or music
• suggest ways the Second Life presence can make library services better for Australians.
