Applications from eligible NSW library staff for the 2011 Colin Mills Scholarship and the 2011 Kath Knowles Young Leaders Award have been extended until Friday 9 September 2011.

Colin Mills Scholarship

• a biennial award to the value of $8,000
• the Council and/or Library of intending applicants must be a current financial member of either Public Libraries NSW or the NSW MPLA

Kath Knowles Young Leaders Award

• an annual award to the value of $5,000
• available to library staff under 40 years of age who meet the eligibility criteria
• the Council and/or Library of intending applicants must be a current financial member of either Public Libraries NSW or the NSW MPLA
