Just in case you want to be a Cool Librarian too, here’s some information about a YouTube competition for the best love song about a favourite book and/or author.
Why should you tell your library community about this? Well, the winner gets to divide the USD5000 with a library of his or her choice.
Gale announces a YouTube video contest in which songwriters perform love songs to their favorite book or author. The winning entrant will split a $5,000 Grand Prize with a library of his or her choice. The contest encourages book lovers to literally sing and record the praises of their favorite books and authors.
