What you want to read

Thank-you to everyone who has responded to our poll about what you would like to read here. Quite clearly you want to find out how to do things with 47% asking for more of these types of posts.

We will be putting our thinking caps on to come up with some How tos. Why not add a comment here to let us know if you have a particular topic you’d like covered.

In the meantime…

Here are some posts on our other blogs that might be of interest.

If you are from an academic institution using ezproxy with EbscoHost you might want to share Techxplorer’s post with your ezproxy expert so that your users can subscribe to search feeds in EbscoHost.

Do you want to share your bundles of RSS feeds with others? I wrote about some options for creating and managing OPML (outline processor markup language) files a little while back at Inn0vate.

And finally, how to create a podcast using Audacity from Kathryn at Librarians Matter.

    @Peta,

    Many thanks for linking to my post. One thing to remember though is the same basic principle will work for any resource that provides a static, and consistent, URL for RSS feeds.

    I’m currently using the same technique with electronic resource publishers such as Wiley InterScience.
