For those in Melbourne in July, this is one not to be missed, and not only because both Kathryn and I will be presenting! Libraries, Web 2.0 and other Internet stuff will be held at the State Library of Victoria on Monday 23rd July.
The key presenter will be Helene Blowers from the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County and having heard her speak at Computers in Libraries 2007, I know hearing just her speak will be worth the day’s outing.
Although it is provided for State and public library staff, if places are available, they will be opened to library staff from other sectors, so I suggest you register quickly. At a cost of $0 per person, it shouldn’t be missed!

Looks like she’s doing a whole bunch of engagements including the NSW Public Libraries Conference in Merimbula. I believe she’s also doing a talk at the State Library of NSW in late July but I can’t the actual announcement.

Thanks for the alert on this - wouldn’t have found it otherwise
Right now, two of us plan to come and listen, meet and great.
