Increased access to e-resources for Aussies!

Posted May 30th 2007 @ 2:30 pm by Peta Hopkins

The National Library of Australia has recently launched ERA (Electronic Resources Australia). This consortium offers Australian libraries an opportunity to provide free online access to information in the areas of health, news, business and general reference, for their members.

An open discussion list has been established for librarians to exchange information about ERA, and the website provides information for libraries and vendors wishing to participate. The FAQs provide a lot of useful information. For participating vendors there is even a wiki space.
