Posted May 11th 2007 @ 3:24 pm by Fiona Bradley

Are you interested in library research, history and analysis? The annual RAILS (Research Applications in Information and Library Studies) conference will be held at RMIT in Melbourne this year on November 30. The call for papers closes May 31:

“If you are carrying out research into any aspect of the provision of library, information and knowledge services and would like to participate in the RAILS4 seminar, you are invited to submit an abstract of a paper on your research. Research students, recipients of research awards, research-active practitioners, and research leaders can use this opportunity to showcase their work and gather input from others. Those new to research are particularly encouraged to submit abstracts and can expect a positive, collegial and supportive response from RAILS4 organisers and participants.”

New researchers are especially encouraged. Visit the RAILS4 website for more information.
