The results of the Reading Victoria summer reading campaign are in.  The program suggested 20 titles with settings in Melbourne or around Victoria and ran from November to the end of January.  The favourite title was decided by a SMS poll, with over 1800 Victorians submitting votes for their favourite.

In reverse order, the top 5 is:

4. Picnic at Hanging Rock by Joan Lindsay

3. My Brother Jack by George Johnston

2. The Dressmaker by Rosalie Ham

 And Victorian readers’ favourite book is Three Dollars by Elliot Perlman.
