Bovine protection for drunken dancing avs

If we were a bit worse for wear from virtual beer and dancing at our party, then think of the Talis chaps at their office party last night.

I found poor Ajax so out of it that his status was “away”, but he was still chugging back the lager and cutting up the dance floor in the Talis building.

Not one to let a drunken av. attempt driving, I encirlced him with cows for his own protection. As one does. In SL anyhow.

Just my little way of saying “Thanks for Cybrary City”. Not sure if this is what Paul Miller meant when he said he wanted to see what librarians would do if given a virtual space :)

    I’ve always wanted to be a member of an elite list of people – not sure if bovine encirclement was what I had in mind though!

    In my defense I should say that the SL party coincided with a real life party at Talis offices in Birmingham, UK. For those who couldn’t join the real party they could at least join virtually.

    For togetherness we had the SL party was displayed on a large screen TV in the office – unfortunately I had to leave to go home [in RL] before we turned it off.

    I have just checked, using a different avatar, to find I am still boogieing away several hours later and will probably still will be until I get back in to the office tomorrow.

    Remember, whether you have beer or bongos, there’s safety in cattle.

    I LOVE the way his head slumps in the “away” postion between dance loops.
