And I thought I should let my library peers know that I had an article on book blogs in the Australian Literary Review on Wednesday, and it is online 
Warning: they have pushed this as an online edition of the review, but there is not a lot of online stuff in it really. And also, if you get hold of the hard copy, the editor wrote all of that title (and I would have given him curry over it if it had come up online like that. Treely ruly.)
I’m pleased to be able to say that the litbloggers I link to are all happy with the article, and appreciate that it is my effort to introduce Australian readers to a new area of the web that they would not otherwise be familiar with, and to give them some background and some sense of where blogging about books might be heading, as well as a juicy summer list of sites to visit. Hope it is of interest to all you web-wise bunch here as well.

interesting gen! as a non lit type possibly “too much information” hehehe but i say that with love:)
i would only quibble that in my very humble, etc it takes neither time nor effort to learn how to blog well…if you have a personal voice, you will find an audience! im happy with the five regulars who frequent my blog, and thrilled with the occasional “unique visitor” who enters from a search engine.

I saw that article actually, I was on a plane from Brisbane to Adelaide and borrowed the paper off the man next to me. I was sure I recognised your name from somewhere
