Thanks to Sarah, I have just been made aware of another Australian blog list - “The Australian Index“. Each blog is categorised (50 categories to choose from) and has a geographic feature also. So you can search by state or by subject, in the areas of blogs, blog posts, images and videos. You can also add a blog quite simply.

Australian Index is one of the older blog indexes and admin there are very receptive to any changes in your blog details, as well as suggestions to make the site more user-friendly. I find its stats on blogs across the country very useful - not everyone else sorts them according to state, or counts them either.
