Ready-made to-learn list

Ok, so you’ve been meaning to learn about some of this web2.0 stuff but never quite got a round tuit.

Here is a round tuit No excuse now -(Photo by douglasamcintosh on Flickr)
And here is your opportunity. Courtesy of the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County - a list of 23 things.

… 23 Things (or small exercises) that you can do on the web to explore and expand your knowledge of the Internet and Web 2.0. Staff are encouraged to complete all 23 items on this list by October 31st in order to to receive a free USB/MP3 player. Those staff that complete all items by October 6th will also qualify for the laptop drawing and other prizes that will be awarded on All Staff Day.

Lucky staff at PLCMC who get a free USB/MP3 player and the chance to win a laptop by taking part in this staff development project. Lucky us who can still take part and learn a thing or twenty-three anyway.
Thanks to my colleague Catherine for recommending this.

It’s interesting to see an employer offering this kind of incentive for staff development activities - the choice of giveaway is appropriate too as it can only encourage further development of ICT skills amongst staff.
