Last week saw the official launch of the online edition of The Australian Dictionary of Biography. Seeded initially with “..over 10,000 scholarly biographies of significant Australians who died before 1980.” All biographies have been taken from the print edition which is published by Melbourne University Publishing.

Site seems to be high traffic, as I can\’t get to it this morning.
I wonder whether they\’ll take a leaf out of the British Oxford Dictionary of National Biography \’s book
They have a \”life of the week\” via RSS feed. You never know who is going to pop into your aggregator.

That would be sweet. Even better if the Bureau of Meteorology could add RSS feeds for their weather forecasts.
