Just in case you missed it, Time has announced their person of the year for 2006. Out of all those individuals nominated, they chose…………………. YOU! Time has recognised the phenomenal growth and power of social networking in its many forms (including Web 2.0 and Library 2.0) and has announced their winner as all those individuals who have made such a difference through this form of contribution.

Audio from the symposium is now available as a Podcast.Add the NLS2006 podcast with enclosures to your RSS reader, iTunes or podcast software to get started. 19 sessions were recorded and are now available, including Joan Frye Williams’ popular keynote address on the user experience. Other topics include: the debate - “Should librarians be politically active?”, leadership, career development, management, social software, wikis open source software and library 2.0.
